You can make a difference.

ACAP Saint John is founded on the principle of providing opportunities for the public to participate in environmental decision-making and direct action initiatives. Our greatest successes to date have occurred due to the efforts of dedicated community volunteers, who have the local knowledge, contacts and conviction to make a difference.

ACAP volunteers come from all sectors of the community, including individuals, community groups, schools and employee organisations within business.  Reasons for volunteering are also varied, and include those looking to add experience to their résumé, parents interested in instilling environmental values in their children, businesses seeking to expand their community profile, and individuals simply looking to do their part in improving the environmental integrity of their community.

Need help organising or promoting a cleanup in your area, or want to help do field work? ACAP's 'Green Network' programme will provide materials such as gloves and bags, as well as arranging pickup of debris to help you organise and execute a successful community cleanup!
