Description:

Help restore the coastal ecosystem by participating in this cleanup at Maguires Cove Beach!

Tucked along the shores of the Bay of Fundy, Maguires Cove Beach is a quiet and ecologically rich area within the Fundy Coastal Ecoregion, a globally significant zone known for its extreme tides, diverse coastal habitats, and high biodiversity. The cove’s tidal flats and salt marshes support migratory shorebirds, juvenile fish, and marine invertebrates, making it a vital site for conservation.

During this cleanup, participants will walk the beach and nearby trails to remove debris from the intertidal zone and surrounding landscape. Expect a mix of soft sand, seaweed, and rocky patches. Join us as we work together to protect this unique and beautiful stretch of coastline.

We will provide all the cleanup supplies needed.
