Description:

If you’re on the lookout for ways to give back to nature, this is just the event for you. Together, we’ll be planting trees in Grand-Bay Westfield to help restore local green spaces, improve the natural surroundings and restore habitats for native wildlife.

Whether it’s your first time planting or you’re a seasoned green warrior, this event is a great way to learn, laugh and enjoy the outdoors while leaving a lasting impact. Just bring along your energy, and enthusiasm and we will provide you with the tools, gloves and saplings for plantation.

What to wear and bring:

Volunteers should wear and bring the following:

• Water bottle

• Sturdy, closed-toe shoes or boots

• Long pants

• Comfortable, weather-appropriate clothing

• Sunscreen

• Bug spray

• Hat

• Hand sanitizer

This rain or shine event will take place unless the forecast calls for thunderstorms or very heavy rainfall.
