Description:

While the fall colors are fading to grey, they’re no match for our will to plant anew. Join us in the beautiful Nerepis watershed this fall to experience a day full of great outdoors, community bonding and meaningful impact. Through this plantation drive we will be committing ourselves to creating robust ecosystems and thriving habitats for the natural world and in turn for ourselves.

No experience is needed for this family friendly event and can be a great opportunity for the little ones to partake in creating a greener future for themselves. Only things needed are your energy, and enthusiasm and we will take care of the tools, gloves and saplings for plantation.

What to wear and bring:

Volunteers should wear and bring the following:

• Water bottle

• Sturdy, closed-toe shoes or boots

• Long pants

• Comfortable, weather-appropriate clothing

• Sunscreen

• Bug spray

• Hat

• Hand sanitizer

This rain or shine event will take place unless the forecast calls for thunderstorms or very heavy rainfall.
