Water Quality and Wetland Walk

Did you know that Saints Rest Marsh is one of the largest salt marshes on the Bay of Fundy's north shore, and a major stopover site for thousands of migrating shorebirds each fall?

To uncover more fascinating facts like this, join us on September 24th at Saints Rest Beach as we take you through this incredible natural wonder right in our backyard. On our walk, you'll also have the chance to take part in hands-on water quality monitoring and discover how salt marshes and water quality are closely interrelated.

What to Bring: 

  • Closed-toe shoes or rain boots 

  • Appropriate clothing for the weather 

  • Water and snacks 

  • Sun protection (sunscreen, hats, etc) 

  • Bug spray and/or bug net 

  • Your enthusiasm and inquisitiveness!!
