On the 20th anniversary of New Brunswick's very first Marine Protected Area located right in our backyard, we want your help documenting its natural diversity. Join ACAP SJ at Black Beach for a community bioblitz of the Musquash Estuary!
A bioblitz is simple: grab your phone, explore the shorelines and species that can only be found in the MPA due to its unique ecological balance, and document every species you come across using iNaturalist. The more people looking, the more we discover together.
The Location:
The Musquash Estuary holds a special title as the largest ecologically intact estuary in the entire Bay of Fundy, and was named New Brunswick's first designated Marine Protected Area in 2006.
